Remedial Massage is widely regarded as a Soft Tissue Therapy that reduces pain and effectively treats tight, immobile and tense muscles and aiming to restore mobility and function to muscles, ligaments and tendons.
Tight and tired muscles often cause pain to other parts of the body. Remedial Massage aims to relieve tension located at the source, tackling both the problem and the symptoms. Pressure used within a Remedial Massage differs between individuals, please express your desired level of pressure throughout your Remedial Treatment.
Whether you’re a serious competitor or just a weekend warrior, Total Essence will have you operating at 100%. We offer Remedial Massage for pre and post workout, Low Level Laser to help muscle repair and prevent injury and Dry Needling for those specific concerns that require special attention.
Dry Needling is the use of fine needles applied directly into the muscle. These needles are used to redirect nerve impulses when damage or tension is occurring. A fine needle is inserted into trigger points located within the muscle that is causing the tension and pain. The needle is so fine, that the treatment is virtually painless.
